  • 2:24 Brain and Body Video FIVE – Breathing

    1. Bunny Breathing – Four quick breaths in through your nose while lifting your arms a little more each breath. Then exhale out of your mouth while pushing your hands back down toward the ground.
    2. Volcano Breathing – With hands together, breath in through your nose while pushing your hand up above your head. When you get to the top where your arms are straight, release all the air you’ve taken in and blow it out of your mouth like a volcano exploding.
    3. Sunrise Breathing – hang with your arms dangling down and hands below your knees. Rise up and look at the ceiling as you breath in through your nose filling your lungs with air. Release the air out of your mouth as you relax and once again begin to go forward hanging over with your arms dangling down again.

    4. Smell the Flower Breathing – Bend over and reach toward the opposite foot with your hand to pretend you are picking a flower. Bring the hand up to your nose like you are smelling the sweet fragrance of the flower in through your nose. Then exhale out of your mouth and reach with the opposite hand down toward the opposite foot to pick a flower from that side and repeat the same breathing technique.

  • 3:15 Brain and Body Video SEVEN – Slow Cross-Lateral

    1. Cross-Shoulder Touch – Make sure you touch your opposite shoulder
    2. Cross Knee Touch – Make sure you touch your opposite knee
    3. Core Twist – Twist so your shoulders are facing the side making sure you alternate
    4. Cross Heel Touch – make sure you touch your opposite heel

    1. Cross lateral knee lifts – Bring both arms across the body -alternating side-to-side
    2. Under leg hand-off – Lift opposite knee and hand the scarf off under the knee from the inside-out
    3. Cross-Punch - Cross the body with the arms. Don’t twist.
    4. Jumping Jacks –Narrow-Wide-Narrow – Jump and when your feet go out, your hands go up.

  • 3:02 Brain and Body Video FOUR – Tracking with Beanbags

    1. Core Twist – Just upper body. Keep feet still
    2. Right Hand Toss and Catch – Palm up, toss beanbag above eye height, wait for beanbag to come back down to you. Don’t reach up and snatch it! Let it fall to your hand while you track it with your eyes.
    3. Left Hand Toss and Catch - Palm up, toss beanbag above eye height, wait for beanbag to come back down to you. Don’t reach up and snatch it! Let it fall to your hand while you track it with your eyes.
    4. Rainbow Toss (side-to-side) – Toss above your head from left to right like a rainbow. Same as above. Let it fall to your hand while tracking it with your eyes.

    1. Cross Punch – Arms straight across
    2. Cross Reach Low – Cross and stretch arm down at an angle
    3. Cross Knee Touch - Knee comes straight up and wrist crosses over the midline past the bellybutton and touches the knee as it comes up.
    4. Cross Heel Touch – Make sure you touch your heel
